Baby blues and postpartum depression
The birth of a child, as well as being a moment of joy, can be a complex phase for many mothers. To learn more about the problems that can follow childbirth, Next Tuesday 3 December at 17:00, Bene Comune Sardegna in collaboration with the Punto Famiglia Acli Cagliari, the Women's Coordination of the provincial Acli and Blue Sardinia ASD, organizes the information seminar, by title “Baby Blues and Postpartum Depression".
"The goal is to promote the psychological and social well-being of mothers," explains Silvia Liguori, head of the Acli Family Point – and provide information and tools to deal with situations that are often underestimated but have a great impact on the lives of women and their families. It will also be an opportunity to raise awareness of the services that we as a Family Point make available to new mothers in particular".
The meeting is part of the activities of the "Psychological Support Project for Vulnerable People”, funded by L.R. n. 13 of 18 September 2024, art. 8 paragraph 2 and finalized, among other things, promoting mental well-being and community outreach.
During the afternoon of study, which will be held in Viale Marconi 4 Cagliari (first floor), The topic of emotional and psychological disorders that can arise immediately after the arrival of a child will be addressed, analyzing the causes, symptoms and highlighting the support strategies available to moms and their families.
