Giacomo Carta confirmed as provincial president of Acli Cagliari

James Card was confirmed as Chairman of the ACLI Provinciali di Cagliari. The election took place during the work of the Provincial Council yesterday, 29 October. Class 1987, he was born in Cagliari and raised in Elmas, where he was a city councilor and from 2021 is Deputy Mayor, Councillor for Urban Planning, Technology Services, Production activities, Generational policies, Digital transition. Worked as a street educator, from 2014 was the provincial coordinator of the Acli Youth, continued commitment at the national level 2017. In 2019 he was deputy vice-president of the National Youth Council (advisory body of the national government).

There will be a lot of work to do given the critical social situation that surrounds us. The aftermath that the various economic crises related to COVID, wars and the increase in inflation has been significant and has drastically weakened our social fabric. In this context, our task is to further strengthen support for the most fragile people, for young people, to the elderly and families in continuity with the work done in recent years and inserting new projects that we already have in the pipeline.
