Driving license for foreigners: Support service is active

Precedence, speed limits, restricted traffic zones. Differences in the rules of the road can create some problems, but often the language barrier is the main difficulty to overcome for foreign guests in our country who wish to take a driving license. That's why the ACLI of Cagliari, Ipsia Sardinia and the Create Acli have decided to organize a dedicated support service.

An inadequate knowledge of the Italian language can create difficulties especially in solving quizzes. Exercises will then be organized to prepare for the theoretical test.

"Support will be given by people with knowledge of Arabic., French and English that will help participants in understanding the text – explains Giacomo Carta –. We consider this initiative very important in terms of stimulating integration as obtaining the license will allow young foreigners to have more opportunities for work and training even outside the city and metropolitan area ".
