The Acli babysitting register is available to families

The aim of the Register will facilitate the meeting of demand and supply of work and to ensure that families and various bodies working with children and young people are able to meet, a database of trusted and trained people's names in various respects.

A tool available to families. A register to which only those who have passed the specific path for childminders and babysitters organized by the ACLI of Cagliari to provide a basic but rigorous preparation.

Last 4 August ended the first of the, twenty-six hours of lessons in telematics mode to comply with the anti-Covid-19 requirements: now the participants, who attended the classes assiduously, have obtained a certificate of participation that allows them to be placed on the Register which was set up at the end of August. Before insertion, candidates are also summoned for an interview to assess their willingness to work and their previous experience in the field.

During training, the students were followed by professionals in the field (a psychologist, a pediatric nurse, a nutritionist and a lawyer) who have covered various topics including the contractual norms of the profession, principles of proper nutrition, pediatric emergency management, child's health and safety, the main paediatric nursing techniques, assessment of family context, gaming and leisure management.

"The Register, people who will follow future courses will be enrolled later., has the purpose, Mainly, to facilitate the meeting between demand and supply of labor in this area – explains the president of Acli Cagliari Mauro Charter –. ’ goal is to support families for free, and the various agencies that work with children and young people, through the training of workers who can provide adequate care and assistance for the little ones, at the same time, promote the social and labor integration of babysitters with a regular employment relationship".

The Register is a tool available to Acli members. For those who do not have the current year’ card, you can request it by approaching the secretariat (Viale Marconi 4, Cagliari) Monday to Friday 9 all 19.
