Integration: the 10 October in Iglesias the meeting of the Impact project of Acli and Ial

From 17 all 20 in the Remo Branca Room of Iglesias (Town Hall Square) two short films on integration are to be screened: l’entry is free. A debate will follow.

Immigration, integration and non-discrimination: these are the themes on which the short films will be screened next Thursday 10 October In Town Hall Square in Iglesias, at the Remo Branca Room. The work is organized as part of the project Impact Sardinia, that sees the Sardinian region, lead partner, in partnership with IAL Sardinia, ACLI Cagliari, Study and project 2 is Exfor, For. The Impact project, funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy with resources of the Asylum Migration and Integration Fund (FAMI), aims to consolidate the system of integration in the regional territory through actions aimed at citizenship. For this reason, it includes a range of actions ranging from the promotion of intercultural dialogue to the vocational and computer training of migrants, including the work orientation phase. Thursday's initiative, organized by Acli of Cagliari in collaboration with IAL Sardinia and the Municipality of Iglesias, si inserisce proprio nel contesto d’action to promote dialogue between different cultures.

The meeting, moderated by Blessed Iannelli (ACLI provinciali di Cagliari), involves the intervention of Mauro Usai (Mayor of Iglesias) is Angela Scarpa (Councillor for Social Policies, Youth and #8217; social inclusion of the Municipality of Iglesias), Mark Sechi (referent for the Sardinian region), Antonio Demontis (Ial Sardinia), Michela Cappai (Sucania Association), Rachida Kouchrad (mediator Acli provincial of Cagliari) Fernando Nonnis (President House Emmaus) is Fernando Schirru (Coordinatore SPRAR Iglesias). The projections will be followed by a debate.

In collaboration with the Sucania Association, two short films have been selected: The power of red gold (ITA – directed by David Minnella– made with the support of the Fondazione con il sud) is The chop (UK – directed by Lewis Rose, (S)).

L’meeting is free and free. At the end there is a tasting of products typical of ethnic and italian cuisine.

A certificate of participation will be issued to those who request it.
