GOALS: project of Acli Gesico for socio-cultural animators

Promoting the area through the enhancement of its history and culture.

Monday 19 November, at the ACLI of Gesico, will begin workshops and training activities under the project GOALS, for a total of 35 hours of lectures and 15 of laboratory. The action provides a unique training programme for socio-cultural entertainers and promoters of local identities and is addressed to young unemployed residents in Sardinia, children of emigrants from Sardis and to immigrants or hosted on the territory.

The aim of the project is the formation of social-cultural animators able to promote the territory and local identities through participatory processes involving social groups and the community as a whole. This will provide participants with new skills for job placement, along with new entrepreneurial ideas that would result from the exploitation of resources in the area.

The lectures will focus on the knowledge of the relevant territory, about techniques for effective analysis of a context with the promotion of specific identities, services and cultural heritage. We will then examine the topics of web and social media marketing, techniques for writing a press release and advertising of an event; the development of a territory through pictures; creating itineraries pairings, natural and cultural. During the workshop participants will be able to finally put into practice what they have learned in theory throughout the course.

The Facilitator must be able to promote the development of the potential for personal growth and/or social integration through appropriate educational projects, with characteristics of continuity, achieved through methods centered on the use of interpersonal relationship and life experiences and in groups, on the basis of a precise intention, also in interaction with the family system, schools and other educational agencies in the territory. The activities, proposed strive to provide opportunities for personal growth and cultural and leisure management objective, social integration among persons ".
