Ageless Lyric: A Bridge Between Generations

The passion for music has no age and opera, with its timeless charm, can help build a bridge between young and old. And this is the goal of the initiative “Ageless Lyric: A Bridge Between Generations”, promoted by the volunteers of the Civil Service by the Acli of Cagliari, in collaboration with FAP Acli, the Youth of the ACLI of Cagliari and Bene Comune Sardegna.

Through a cultural journey in three appointments, participants will be offered a unique experience designed to involve young and old in a journey to discover the world of Opera. An opportunity to get closer to the magic of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, discover the charm of melodrama and share emotions through an engaging cultural journey with a view to promoting active aging, of socialization and intergenerational confrontation.

The route 3 Appointments, two of which at the headquarters of the Provincial ACLI of Cagliari from the 15 all 17, The first Monday 17 March, an introductory meeting in which participants will be guided to discover the structure of melodrama, offering useful ideas to better appreciate the show and the second meeting, Friday 21 March, of reflection and sharing of experience. It will be an opportunity to comment and discuss together the emotions experienced during the show, deepening the issues that emerged and creating a space for intergenerational dialogue.

The highlight of the project will be Thursday 20 March, at 19:00, when the group will have the opportunity to attend the performance of “The Barber of Seville” scheduled for the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, immersing yourself in the unique atmosphere of the great opera.

Participation is free, Except for the cost of the theater ticket for which based on the number of participants you could access a group discount, it is open to all but the Acli card is required.
