Seminar on Eating Disorders in Children and Adolescents: What they are and how to prevent them
The Family Point of the ACLI of Cagliari, in collaboration with Blue Sardinia ASD and Bene Comune Sardegna, organizes the seminar entitled: “Eating Disorders in Children and Adolescents: What they are and how to prevent them”, to be held next 17 October, starting from hours 17:30, at the provincial headquarters of the ACLI Viale Marconi, 4 Cagliari.
"The seminar was created with the aim of raising awareness on an issue of growing importance," he says Silvia Liguori, head of the Family Point – "Eating disorders include pathologies such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge eating disorder and are unfortunately increasingly widespread among children and adolescents, becoming a worrying phenomenon that impacts not only physical health, but also the psychological one of the youngest".
The seminar will be introduced by the President of the Acli of Cagliari James Card It will be attended by Valentina Tanda – health psychologist and Elisabetta Pozzato – Nutritionist biologist, which will offer a complete overview of the topic.
