SOS study, the Family Point service designed to help students
A summer educational support for students in difficulty. For several years, as part of the activities of the Point Family Of ACLI of Cagliari, is active on SOS studio project which offers support to students in carrying out homework and study activities. The project, carried out by the volunteers of the Universal Civil Service, It is aimed in particular at those who need to catch up on one or more subjects before the start of the new school year or to better prepare for the delicate transition from lower to upper secondary school.
This service free, available both in the Cagliari and in those of Elmas and Decimomannu, is aimed at boys and girls in lower secondary school (By 11 to 14 years) and the two-year period of secondary school (Come on 14 to 16 years) and will be offered continuously throughout the summer period, with the aim of satisfying the numerous requests from the territories and clubs of the Acli.
"The subjects for which it will be possible to activate the service are: Science & Biology, English, French, Spanish, German, italiano, history, History of Art, geography, Latin, music, mathematics, Civic education – he explains the head of the Acli Family Point Silvia Liguori –. During a preliminary meeting, in which they will take part, Beyond the student, also parents and operators of the ACLI, needs will be assessed and a training plan established, then the meetings will be scheduled".
