The ABC of information technology for the over 60

It's never too late to learn how to navigate the digital world competently and confidently. To help the overs 60 to take your first steps with the computer, the ACLI of Cagliari launch together with FAP ACLI the literacy course ‘The ABC of computing‘.

The course aims to provide the elderly with basic skills on the use of computers and the Internet in order to actively participate in an increasingly digitized society.

We will start from a lesson on how a computer is made and how information is organized, you will then learn how to use word processors. Finally, the Internet network will be described, its use for searching for information with the Web and for communication via email, messaging and voice. A lesson will be dedicated in particular to online scams and how to avoid them.

Lessons will be held on Friday mornings from 9.30 all 11.30 for a total of 20 hours. For Entries you can call the ACLI secretariat at 07043039 until 29 September, then the start date of the path will be found.
