Support services for Ukrainian refugees and their host families

A team of teachers, intercultural mediators, mother tongue interpreters, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, counselor, animators and volunteers to help Ukrainian refugees and emigrants, but also the Sardinian families who welcome them. The Crei (Regional Committee Emigration Immigration) Sardinia, together with the ACLI of Cagliari and Sardinia they offer a direct support service mainly to those fleeing the war in Ukraine. To help them in their immediate daily needs, basic Italian courses will be activated, school and translation support, while a team of psychotherapists and counselors will offer post-traumatic psychological support. In addition, caf and patronato ACLI operators are available for tax and social security assistance.

The goal is to make those who have just come out of the terrible reality of the war feel immediately welcomed and at ease, but to expand the support actions also to the Ukrainians already resident on the island, who in this period are experiencing a state of strong anxiety and concern and to the Sardinian families who generously in these days are welcoming relatives and friends.
In particular, those who are receiving refugees will be able to request translation and interpreting services, as well as support for basic necessities.
