Acli Youth Camp: in Gavoi to discover volunteering and active citizenship

From 31 March to 2 April at the hotel Taloro di Gavoi will be held on Youth Camp by Acli Sardegna dedicated to the under 32. It will be a moment of training to understand the importance of putting oneself at the service of others and understand and appreciate the value of volunteering, of associations and active citizenship.
These are in fact the objectives of the Youth Camp organized by the Acli of Sardinia as part of the project Sardinian Welfare in the era of pandemic awareness co-financed by the Fondazione di Sardegna.

This is a project of non-formal education dedicated to forty children aged 18 And 32 years: young people will live in close contact for three intense days, and will have the opportunity to discuss with representatives of the institutions, of the world of the third sector, experts and volunteers. They will then be able to share virtuous experiences of volunteering and active citizenship, discover new ways of working, participated and active. During the Camp there will be three days of meetings and three thematic workshops.

At the center of the daily meetings there will be issues related to active citizenship, to volunteering, to associations and the sharing of ideas for the development of social projects useful for the communities to which they belong. Among the specific objectives of the Camp are the acquisition of personal awareness, social and political; a general awareness of environmental issues; the development of a greater sense of belonging to the territory and the community. The three days will also be an opportunity to get to know and get in touch with associations engaged in their communities to promote social projects aimed at the common good.
