Tour in Spanish Cagliari: socialization and integration between different generations and cultures

From the imposing Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria to the Torre del Prezzemolo, passing through the suggestive naturalistic path of the Colle di Sant'Elia. The project "Discovering Cagliari: a city, so many cultures”, born from the collaboration between provincial Acli of Cagliari, Create Acli, Ipsia Sardinia, Amal Sardegna Morocco and Fap Acli Cagliari, reaches its fifth stage, to discover the Calari Spanish.

The appointment is for Tuesday 22 March all hours 16. After the guided tour of the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria, the tour will continue towards the Torre del Prezzemolo, which will be reached through a nature trail that leads from the lighthouse of Calamosca to the Colle di Sant'Elia. For those who do not have a private car, there is a free service for round-trip travel (Basilica-Calamosca-Basilica), subject to availability of seats in the Acli minibus. Therefore, those who need this service are invited to request it inscription by Friday 18 March, the requests will be taken in charge in chronological order of presentation and confirmed by email.

The one dedicated to Spanish Calari is the fifth meeting of "Discovering Cagliari: a city, so many cultures”, project that includes a total of eight initiatives dedicated to socialization and integration between different generations and cultures, through the use of the history of the capital as a means of interaction. The itinerary, divided into historical periods, retraces the evolution of the city of Cagliari, starting from the Punic and Roman periods, then continuing with the Byzantine and Judicial period, the Pisano one, Spanish, Piedmontese, finally ending with the Unity of Italy and the present day.

The goal is to create a moment of sharing and meeting between citizens over 60 and groups of foreigners present on the territory. The purpose of the activity is not only to integrate the latter more into our reality, but also to protect the weakest sections of the population, promoting healthier lifestyles and counteracting situations of loneliness.

The tour is free for those who are in possession of the Acli card 2022 and will take place in compliance with the safety and prevention rules against Covid-19 (strengthened Green Pass required).
