Youth workers profession. Here are all the laboratories of the Be the change project

The project includes a free training course for young people among the 18 and the 30 years to be held by October. Target: train people who want to work as youth animators and promote the values of volunteering.

Get to the heart of the project Be the change organized by the ACLI of Cagliari as part of the public notice of the Sardinia Region for the financing of projects of local importance promoted by voluntary organizations or associations of social promotion and resources allocated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies.

Thanks to this initiative, the participants will begin their journey of Youth Workers: professional figures that facilitate the learning and personal and social development of young people, so that they become autonomous and responsible citizens. The free route is aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and the 30 years of Province of Cagliari.

These are the themes at the heart of training:

Third sector, associations and volunteering, designed to allow participants to learn about the peculiarities of the world of the third sector, to know the spirit and purpose of #8217 associations and volunteering. The presence of experts is expected who will have the task of deepening the main obligations provided for by the rules for associations and of making known the opportunities for access to financial instruments and forms of contribution.

Fundraising techniques, during which participants will be able to discuss with experts in fundraising campaigns and understand how to design a fundraiser for the organization of an event or project.

Orientation to work, through which participants will be able to deepen the theme of orientation to work, develop greater awareness about their future and job opportunities as Youth workers.

To these are added the already announced laboratories of:

Communication techniques and building a successful team, designed to improve participants in listening skills, communication and teamwork.

First aid, to make students acquire the basic knowledge to be able to intervene and offer first aid in particular during events and youth animation activities.

European design techniques with a focus on international cooperation, during which participants will be able to acquire skills on opportunities at European and Mediterranean level and, also, they will be able to try their hand at the ’ elaboration of a project proposal.

The training course, finished the teaching part in the classroom, it also provides for the practice, during which the participants, inserted in third sector bodies that take care of projects for young people, they will have the opportunity to experience what they have learned.

At the end of the project, a certificate with indication of the skills and knowledge acquired, and participants will have the opportunity to be included in a register dedicated to them from which they can draw third sector organizations, associations, cooperatives, schools in order to encourage the meeting between demand and supply of work.
