Erasmus Plus: close the gap project kicks off

L’Anci Sardegna Association, in collaboration with Acli Provincials of Cagliari, published the first call "Close the Gap" – nomination window from the 10/05 al 23/05/2021 – which intends to implement mobility programmes for young Sardinian recent graduates.

The project aims to pursue, Specifically, the following objectives:

• increase the employability and resilience of young Sardinian graduates through the preparation of mechanisms that are able to support their outgoing path and encourage the development of professional skills consistent with the demands of the labour market;
• activate collaborations at European level to promote the achievement of a better link between education and the business system that can allow greater productivity of the local production system and better employability of young Sardinians;
• stimulate the development of pathways that can lead to the acquisition of a professional qualification, through the enhancement of learning developed in a non-formal and informal context and the strengthening of the regional identification system, validation and certification of skills;
• strengthen the tools for foreign language learning and for the development of cross-cutting knowledge and experience necessary to act profitably within any work environment;
• strengthen the capacity of schools that are members of the National Consortium to activate collaborations at European level, build Pathways for Transversal Skills and ’PCTO Orientation and use the work-based learning approach more effectively and consistently;
• encourage the employment of young people within Sardinian companies through the development of return paths to be realized thanks to the involvement of the trade associations present within the Consortium, to stimulate innovation and productivity in the tourism sector.

They can apply, recent graduates from technical institutes of the "Administration of, Finance and Marketing" and "Tourism" and by Professional Institutes of "Services for Food and Wine and Hotel Hospitality", residents of Sardinia and unemployed/unemployed. Mobility will include an internship period of 90 days (+ 2 travel days A/R) companies based in France, Ireland, Malta and Spain.
