On Wednesday in Nuoro a new meeting of the Impact project of Ial and Acli

From 17 all 20 in the hall of the Polyfunctional Center in Nuoro is planned the screening of two short films on the integration: l’entry is free. A debate will follow.

Immigration, integration and non-discrimination. These are the themes on which the short films will be screened next Wednesday 27 November at the hall of the Polyfunctional Centre in Nuoro. These are works organized as part of the Impact Sardinia project, that sees the Sardinian region, lead partner, in partnership with IAL Sardinia, ACLI Cagliari, Study and project 2 and Exfor. The project, funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies with resources from the Migration and Integration Asylum Fund (FAMI), aims to consolidate the system of integration in the regional territory through actions aimed at citizenship. For this reason, it includes a range of actions ranging from the promotion of intercultural dialogue to the vocational and computer training of migrants, including the work orientation phase. The initiative, organized by Acli and IAL Sardinia and with the participation of the City of Nuoro, fits right into the context of #8217;action to promote dialogue between different cultures.

The meeting, moderated by Blessed Iannelli (ACLI provinciali di Cagliari), involves the intervention of Andrea Soddu (Mayor of Nuoro) and Valeria Romagna (Social Services Assessor, Policies
Youth, Equal Opportunities, Policies for the House of the City of Nuoro), Mark Sechi (referent for the Sardinian region), Maria Dettori (Head of Social Policy of the City of Nuoro),
Antonio Demontis (Ial Sardinia), Rachida Kouchrad (mediator Acli provincial of Cagliari), Saviour Urru (President Acli of Nuoro), Don Pietro Borrotzu (Responsible for Social Pastoral
Diocese of Nuoro), Referents and beneficiaries of the Nuoro SPRAR.
In collaboration with the Sucania Association, two short films have been selected: The power of red gold (ITA – directed by Davide Minnella – created with the support of the Foundation with the South) is The chop (UK – directed by Lewis Rose). The evening ends with the video of the clip TAMALAL, ALT. by 4CaniperStrada Cultural Association.

The screenings will be followed by a debate and tasting of products of ethnic and italian cuisine.
L’meeting is free and free. It releases certificate of participation.
