Every year, about 30 percent of new subscribers choose to pack up and leave for study outside the confines of the island. A growing phenomenon over the past decade: Despite the population decline and subsequent decrease in the number of registrations, Sardinian students enrolled in universities of the peninsula are increasingly.

To investigate and understand the phenomenon, the Create Acli (Regional Committee Emigration Immigration) together with the ACLI provinciali di Cagliari and at theInVento association organise an information seminar: Friday 2 August starting at 10,30, at the headquarters of via Roma 173 a Cagliari, data collected by Crei will be presented in a dossier. To illustrate the study will be Francesco Nehapandey_cuty former board member of the Ersu of Cagliari and national adviser to University Students at the Ministry of Education, Universities and research.

"The situation is alarming: from 2007 al 2017 the number of young people emigrated to the studies grew from about 8000 about 9000 explains the President of the Crei Mauro Charter – a real exodus that weighs heavily on the finances of Sardinian families and which, often, is not even an investment in our country, Since more and more guys decide not to return to Sardinia and continue their lives away from our land. We believe it is necessary to understand the reasons of this phenomenon in order to reverse the trend and enable our best minds to remain to assist in the development of our region ".
