Three sewing classes departing at our headquarters in Viale Marconi 4 Cagliari: SOS sartorial repairs, Cutting and sewing for beginners, Creative sewing.
S.O. S. tailored repairs
A mini course 6 two-hour classes where, step by step, We will address the main issues of tailoring, they need to do in perfect autonomy the various repairs/modifications of the leaders of our wardrobe and that of the whole family.
The course is aimed at those who want to learn l & #8217; use of the sewing machine and overlock. During the course s’ Learn how to make a hem by hand and machine (for example hem jeans, Classic trousers, hem skirt with overlock) How to make a buttonhole, attack types of buttons, replace hinge types, mending tears, holes and how to shorten or change the size to return the garment to your measure. Cutting and sewing for beginners
Short lessons on a weekly basis to learn a few lessons to cut and sew garments to your liking. The course aims to give basic knowledge of methodology of enclosure, and the information you need to become familiar with your sewing machine, any trademark that is. Lessons on Wednesdays from 15 all 17 (30h). Beginning Wednesday, 3 July.
Program:
• Fundamentals of materials science and taking measurements;
• individual project which is the demonstration of a boss: single base simple sleeve black dress/corpino, various typologies of skirts as Wheel models ( ¼ , ½ , .75 and whole wheel) straight line, countersunk, sheath; Basic pants with or without pockets;
• quantities of fabric based on the boss you want to achieve;
• finish on fabric (plot, Warp, lengthwise grain);
• cutting and tailoring of the Chief;
• approach to sewing machine with straight seams exercises, corners, roundness and thicknesses.

Creative sewing:
Restyling and recovering old clothing , creations and simple techniques to create fashion accessories by hand and machine , as hemming, cutting and finishing simple models of tablecloths and curtains; You can learn more about your car and understand how it works to get the best from your use. Lessons on Mondays from 11.30 all 14 (25h). Date to be announced.

• How do I use and proper use of stitching machines.
