Wolof: Learn the rudiments of the language of Senegal

Classes on Monday at its headquarters in via Roma in Cagliari.

A charming old idiom, much more than just a means of communication not only for Senegalese, but for all those who come from Central and Eastern region of the African continent. The Acli provincials of Cagliari and Ipsia Sardinia are organising a basic language course Wolof (the official language of Senegal) dedicated to all those who want to broaden their horizons, they are going to do volunteer or work experience in international development cooperation in all euro area countries or work in the way of cultural and linguistic mediation.

The training course, lasting 20 hours, will be held on Monday from 18 all 20 in the premises of the venue ACLI of via Roma, 173 Cagliari and will be launched by the 29 October, on reaching the minimum number of students. "The primary objective of the initiative"- Blessed Iannelli explains – President of IPSIA Sardinia "is to introduce participants to the Senegalese community through the use of the mother tongue, in order to facilitate the contact with foreign immigrants in our country, but also acquire skills that will enable, to those who are interested in doing work experience and volunteering in Senegal, to relate and empathic relationships, particularly in rural areas and villages in Africa, Central and Eastern area ".
