Seminar “Become a volunteer guardian of an unaccompanied minor”

The Acli of Cagliari align themselves with awareness campaign promoted by the Italian Antitrust Authority for childhood and adolescence.

In Italy there are over 17 thousand underage boys without parents. They arrived in Italy alone, overcoming enormous difficulties, but perhaps the hardest part starts after: build a future for themselves in a new country, with laws that don't know, with no one to reference. 830 minor live in Sardinia, the 95% of them are between 15 and the 17 years and the 96,9% are male. The program promoted by the Italian Antitrust Authority provides for the voluntary application to become guardians of these children, be the Guide for one of them to accompany him in his new life.

The program will be shown in the seminar to be held Wednesday 15 November at 17.15 at the regional headquarters of Acli in Via Roma n. 173 in Cagliari – second floor. The seminar speakers Dr.. Mauro Charter, President of Acli provinciali di Cagliari, Dr.SSA Angely Poulette Stefano, Representative for South Sardinia authority for childhood and adolescence and the Blessed dott.ssa Iannelli, Councillor of the municipality of Cagliari.
