Registration now open for the new training course for domestic helpers and caregivers

The Acli Colf, the Acli of Cagliari and Patronato Acli Cagliari, in collaboration with AGSG and EBINCOLF, promoting a training course for domestic helpers and caregivers.

Are largely foreign caregivers, defined as "carers", occupied in the care of the elderly and dependent persons. There are no official data on the phenomenon, being largely of undeclared, but an estimated 600 thousand women all over Italy who take care of our homes, of our families and of our seniors giving a strong support to the assistance system of our country.

The course is therefore aimed at improve the skills of workers working in the field, to make it more functional and sustainable their work commitment, improving the management of certain issues related to the care in the family.

The training of 64 hours will be held three days a week (on Tuesday,, on Thursday and Friday afternoon from 15 at 19) in via Roma n. 173 Cagliari, with a start date of Thursday 9 November 2017.

In summary some of the topics discussed:

• home management (Home, housekeeping, meals ...);
• basic healthcare notions;
• personal services;
• rights and duties of the worker;
• assisted related strategies and family.
