Ancient and modern calligraphy courses
The calligraphy courses at Acli of Cagliari. In addition to ancient calligraphy class, already proposed with success in may, those interested can now join too modern calligraphy course. The idea of these courses stems from an attempt to prevent the manual skills in drawing and writing is lost in this age increasingly touch digital and electronic-providing both an initial historical-theoretical framing of writing both practical exercises with various techniques and tools.
In particular "Ancient Calligraphy" includes the study of ancient writing techniques (black ink-smoking & pens), the art of tying and binding, cursive English, round writing, the Gothic script and dating systems and seal (rubber stamp wax).
"Modern Calligraphy" instead will treat many calligraphic styles with different techniques: water colour; stamps; powders; hot powders; scracht cards and different tools: pen; brush; watercolors; nibs.
Classes will be held on Friday from 10 at 12 (modern) and from 14 at 16 (ancient). Both courses will have a lasting 20 hours and will be held at the headquarters of Acli provincials of Cagliari Viale Marconi, 4. The start date will be established once you reach the minimum number of participants and communicated via email to subscribers.
