Islam between history and current events
Young ACLI Cagliari and Sardinia IPSIA organize on December 1 2015 a round table of deepening of inter-religious dialogue and fundamentalism entitled "Islam between history and current events". The meeting, to be held in Cagliari, Via Crispi 12 and will begin at 18.30, It aims to inform, train and educate young people on the theme of inter-religious dialogue at the history and focusing on the relationship between East and West. The roundtable aims, through historical analysis, to shed light on the relationship established over time between different religions and how was born fundamentalism coming up with current events.
The panel discussion will be coordinated by Dr. Silvia Cocco – member of the provincial coordination of Youth ACLI – and attended by Prof. Patrizia Manduchi – professor at the University of Cagliari in history and institutions of Islam, Luca Foschi – doctoral student in political science and freelance journalist, Professor Father Maurizio Teani – Dean of the Theological Faculty of Cagliari, Dr.. Andrea Dore – Honorary Consul of France in Cagliari and Mohamed Kouchrad – mediator ACLI Cagliari.
