Meetings in support of parents

Acli Cagliari promotes a parenting support group within the project “Family Point” –Punto Famiglia. The meetings will take place at Acli offices in Via Marconi 4, Cagliari.
Adolescence is a fase where there is a transaction from childhood to adulthood, where the youngster defines own identity and deals with big physic and psychological changes. In this period, the relationship between parents and kids has a new shape because all balances, established until that moment, change. Adolescents start to develop independency and contrast toward parent authority. The reactions of those could include different emotions: in one hand we have joy for the growing process of the kids but in the other hand we have anxiety caused by the need of autonomy.
The aim of the group is to give parents with adolescent kids a place where every attendant have the chance to confront with others about educational-relational matters and share experiences and emotions in order to develop personal skills helpful to guarantee the family wellness.
