Will begin on May 11, the course of history and culture of Sardinia

Monday 11 May will host the first lesson of the course of history, traditions and culture of Sardinia. The course, designed for students, immigrants or simply fans of our island, will be held every Monday afternoon – from 15 at 17 – in Viale Marconi 4 Cagliari.

The program expected:

History and economy. Prehistory and the nuraghic civilization, in particular, nuraghi and bronze statuettes;

Ancient Phoenician-Carthaginian and Roman dominations and with particular reference to the sites of Nora, Tharros, Tuvixeddu & amphitheatre;

Middle ages, vandala and Byzantine domination and Arab rule;

The 4 Judged and the various battles, with an eye to the Carta de Logu;

Commons and Lords;

Aragonese and Spanish domination;

Kingdom of Savoy (Italian and European panorama). The revolt of 28 April and sa die de sa Sardigna;

Giovanni Maria Angyoi and the five demands of matching elements sardi;

L ’ edict of closing;

Contemporary age. ’ fusion and Kingdom of Italy. Figure of Garibaldi and Caprera;

Poverty and banditry; popular uprising and massacre of Bugerrru;

Satta, Cocco Ortu, Gramsci, Grazia Deledda, Deffenu;

The great war and fascism: Partito Sardo D Azione ’, Independence movement, Emilio Lussu;

Law of Mussolini and Sardinia reclamation Billion →;
